Six weeks on

I hear you.

You built it. You put it out there. And now it's quiet.

That's frustrating!

You created something you were excited about, and no one'sĀ signing upĀ or buying...

Well, there's almost always a reason.

In my experience, it comes down to one of these three. Sometimes two of them at once.

01

The marketing isn't there

You built it, but you haven't really told anyone about it. Or you're not sure how to put it in front of the right people. It could be brilliant and nobody would know.

02

People are confused

They land on it and can't tell what to do, why it matters, or what it actually solves. So they leave. Not because it's bad, but because it wasn't obvious.

03

It isn't positioned right

People don't see what it changes for them. They might try it once, but there's no reason to come back or tell anyone else about it.

Working out which one it is

This is the bit that's hard on your own, because you're too close to it. Someone looking at your app with fresh eyes can usually spot it in about ten minutes.

That's what we do in the Ease & Impact Community. Monthly calls where we pull your app apart together, weekly reviews of your actual work, and me on the other end when you're stuck. Have a look for a fortnight and see if it's the thing that shifts it.
